Pricing questions
What counts as active staff?
Anyone who works for you during a calendar month (clocks in, enters their hours or sends a timesheet), plus anyone assigned to one of your clients that month. Other staff on file aren't counted, each person counts once, and there's no limit on how many staff you keep on file. Your Billing page shows this month's count and exactly who is in it.
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial with every feature. No card is needed to start; you add billing when you're ready to continue. Nothing is deleted while you decide.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, any time from the Billing page. Upgrades and moving to yearly billing take effect right away, and the difference is credited or charged. On a yearly plan, moving down to Starter or back to monthly takes effect when the paid year ends.
Do caregivers pay anything?
Never. Caregivers and staff use the GatherShift app free.
Is sales tax included?
Prices don't include sales tax. Where it applies (for example Maryland's tax on software and IT services), it's added to your invoice.
